Long Cut

Coarse cut Hawken was cut into pretty big pieces that resembled small squares about the size of Non Perils candy, the type you decorate cupcakes with, and this posed two problems. One, while the pieces were bigger and really did last much longer than what was currently available, the cans didn’t seem to last the average user more than a day and two, due to the size and shape of the tobacco pieces, it was very uncomfortable to use. Dippers usually complained about their inner lip and gums hurting due to the cut of the Dip and so, after only about a year after it’s release, ASC decided to change the cut of Hawken to Long Cut. So, now that you know a bit of the history of Hawken Dip, let’s take a look at the company it’s self.
